Prime & Composite Numbers

12= 3 x 4, Here 3 is a factor of 12, and 12 is a multiple  of 3.  4 is another factor of 12. In the same way, for 12, there are six factors in all. They are 1,2,3,4,6,12 as 12=1x12, 12=2x6, 12=3x4. A number with exactly two factors-1 and itself is called a prime number .  Example: 2 has only two factors -1 and 2. So, 2 is a prime number. Prime Numbers between 100-200 are  101, 103, 107, 109, 113, 127, 131, 137, 139, 149, 151, 157, 163, 167, 173, 179, 181, 191, 193, 197, 199 .[21] A number with at-least   three factors(more than two factors ) is called a Composite number.
